東京の冬の風物詩。 神田明神寒中禊、通称ガマン会。 穏やかな日和とはいえ1月9日。 神田明神に一番近い大手町の気温アメダスでは10時現在7度でした。 しかも禊の水桶には大きな氷中がそそりたっています。 この儀式は神道の修行にのっとり 社殿前のお祓い拝礼から始まり準備体操。雄叫びから 最後の締めまで清水禰宜を先導に"本格的"に行われています。 成人を迎える儀式としての意味合いもあり 今年も新成人を含め30人を超える人が参加しました。 周辺に水しぶきが飛び散るほど気合が入った禊が続きます。 アキバメイドガイドのマスダさんも初参加。 禊が終わりインタビューを受けるマスダさん。 奮闘ぶりを動画でもどうぞ。
